It was hubris to make the Introduction to Izfernor mixtape and call it Vol.1. To somewhat balance that act here's the inevitably inferior Vol.2, the Outroduction to izfernor if you will. It's a compilation of everything that came after Set Seizures: the etc vs. etc remix ep, the Suffer World collab with Henry James Smith, Blessed, the self titled album released by trashfuck, and the posthumous album Are You There Computer, It's Me Dominic.

In the rear-view mirror I see the project had three main stages. First there was the early works steeped heavily in the myspace noise era, very clumsy and not well thought out, from the Extended Ploy (2009) probably up to the split release with Pollux (Watching Eileen, 2011). Then for a brief period there was a real amount of insight and effort that went into the Carpentry ep (2011/2012) and the long gap that brought Set Seizures, probably the two capstone releases in the project. After that was a gradual slide into adult life and variable misery that bred the contents of this compilation, falling back on old methods that I tried to swear off. This is the best parts of what caused me to decide the retirement of izfernor. I'm very happy to be doing the work on yea fuckin no as of late; it's what I wanted izfernor to be during this mediocre period.
